Episode 74 Scottevest Peformance T-Shirt review
Episode 74 we review the Performance T-Shirt from ScotteVest (SeV) in this video episode. This is my first time reviewing a piece of Technology enabled clothing (TEC) as promoted by Scottevest. I was very surprised when the shirt arrived, it was well made, descrete and very comfortable to wear. I am reviewing the 1 pocket version in Black material, there is also a 3 pocket version of this shirt available in several colors. The pocket was located up by my left shoulder and offers a zipper to secure in any items. The pocket has ample room for ipods, mp3 players and smartphones. I even use it to stash some cash when I'm out and dont want to carry a wallet. What is called a personal area network amounts to a design that allows you to feed the headphone cable through an opening on the inside of the shirt pocket and allows you to bring the cable up and out the neck opening. This allows for easy access and you do not have the wires all over the place. It is really a clean look when used.

Episode 55 - iJet Wireless RF remote for iPod review
Episode 55 we review the iJet Wireless RF remote control. To start with a statement to sum up this product, it's by far the best remote control for iPods that I have ever used. The range for the remote is said to be 150 feet and from my testing it does come very close to this range. The iJet uses RF technology which is radio frequeny versus other remotes that use infra-red light technology. The infra-red remotes require line of sight and have a much shorter range. The RF signals will penetrate through most home walls to enable you to use the remote in the kitchen while your iPod might be in the bedroom. The remote is available in a white or black version to match current iPods. I love the fact the the received part that connects to the iPod has a docking port pass-thru connector. This feature allows me to use the remote and a car charger at the same time, or a FM transmitter. The remote is water resistant and has a ring to attach to your key chain if you wish. This version of the iJet is designed to work with the full size iPods, but will also work with the Nano and iPod mini.
Episode 20 - Boxwave Mini Sync iPod Video & Audio cable Review
Episode 20 we review the Mini Sync AV from Boxwave in this video segment. The Boxwave retractable is designed to allow you to connec your iPod to a TV or Stereo for Audio and Video use. The cable is a retractable design that allows the cable to adjust from 5" to 45" in length. This creates a nice option to bring along a AV cable not have take up much room or deal with tangled cables. The cable connections are gold plated to reduce signal loss. The case and cable are available in iPod white to match. The AV mini sync will work with the iPod Photo, iPod nano and iPod Video units. It can be used with the headphone port or the line out from a dock connection. This is a nice way to show others pictures and videos that you might have stored on that little white beauty. This cable was designed for iPods so the AV part of the cables match up properly. Others have used standard RCA to mini cables and reported that the connections must be shuffled around to get the signal(video send out on red cable not yellow).
